Boynton Beach

With a population of about 68,000 people within its 16.25 square miles and 21 neighborhoods, the South Florida coastal city of Boynton Beach is the 33rd largest community in the state and the third largest in Palm Beach County. This quiet, year-round community has plenty to offer in terms of dining, entertainment and recreation; nearby Delray BeachBoca Raton and Palm Beach provide even more options. Though homes in Boynton Beach range in price from low to luxe, property values have managed to stay well above the national average.

The city's dining possibilities include just about every type of cuisine imaginable, including Cuban, Greek, Japanese and Thai restaurants. The Boynton Beach Mall offers nearly 140 retail stores from Macy's to J.C. Penney. Boynton Beach is perfect for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors soaking up the sun and everyone who loves Florida's famous balmy weather. Parks here are among the city's biggest attractions, coming in at an impressive total of 28. A standout is Oceanfront Park, comprised of 12 acres of pristine shoreline and 1,000 feet of boardwalk pier. In 2001, readers of The Palm Beach Post awarded Oceanfront Park the honor of being voted the best family beach in Palm Beach County. If you enjoy fishing and boating you'll find plenty to do here, too.
